Ive never seen such a bad movie.
The movie is more or less like dhool.Village guy comes to city,can't stand the akramam and arajagam going on and decides to kill all the rowdies in the city.The main motive behind this is to make chennai clean and green for his darling sis to live happily in chennai with her hubby.wowie!!what paasam..!!
Nothing in the movie is bearable -the storyline,music absolutely nothing.
And the lyrics ...Oh my god!!...Thrisha uses all possible adjectives (also nouns) on Vijay.. One song goes like this..
"Vaada vaada supermarkettu" (huh??okkay!)
"Vaada vaada waterpackettu"(Did she just say water packet?)
"Vaada vaada kempakattu"(wha???)
"Vaada vaada keerai kattu"(D'uh?I gave up here)
And another one is picturised this way..Vijay and Thrisha sport different costumes..u know like cowboy cowgirl etc etc...Suddenly Vijay starts off like Eminem..Rap.."Oh my kadavule,Oh my kadavule"(ull also exclaim that while watching it)This song was the worst.
Seriously elayathalapathi Vijay!!Lungi and silk chattai is more ur kind..
The movie has a lot of unintended comedy in it..you can find them all over the movie...
Like all the rowdies in the movie have funny prefixes to their names.."Pataasu balu"(??) "Paan parag ravi"(???) and "saniyan sagadai"(!*&*#$!!?) ..Rowdies can also have normal names....I dunno why theyve to make up their names like some Harry Potter characters!!I understand there has to be some exaggeration..adhukkunu eppadiya?? Even the dishum dishum scenes in the latter half are totally crazy.They remind you more of computer shooting games.
And as usual they have all kinds of hero dialogues made up for Vijay which will make u roll over and laugh till your stomach hurts.His dialogue delivery is horrible. And the scenes between him and his sis is all so phony,sickeningly sweet... *groan*
Thrisha is by far the best part of the movie.She is cute and pretty as ever.But she hardly has any role and all her dialogues also sound stupid.
Definetely must avoid movie.
Even if you are drowning in the sea of boredom its better to just lie in the water and rot.If this movie ever crosses your mind....squash,burn, and tear up that idea.
Three hours of total torture.

Yea u r right..atleast usually in vijay's movies there will be some vivek comedy and some nice dance numbers...
even that was not there..I was going to come out half way...But was watching in PVR :(( and atleast for that had to sit thru...

I saw the Rajnikanth movie like Introduction Song and I realized what these guys are aiming for. It is too much. After reading the article in sify, got bugged up a lot.
It reminded me of Annamalai..its like ditto :)
Guys, this movie is certainly qualified for the "Serious Comedy" genre. this genre is studded with breath-taking (literally) movies like Narasimha, Gajendra, and Attagasam :) usually all captain movies directly qualify to this genre.
you SHOULD watch these movies, not alone, but with a bunch of people. nice time pass :)

Awesome Blog, to think that I made the mistake of watchin the same movie at PVR tells me tht the world is a bloody small place and people are more like sheep.
No Tam movies other than Thalaivar(Rajni) and Kamal in future!!
