However good the receipe might be, I just hate brinjals... reminds me of dead fish.

But then, I do love dead fish that's cooked ;o)

I've been fooled into eating brinjal curry dozens of times thinking it was a more exotic dish. I think brinjal relish simply from the list of ingredients would make a wonderful side course :)

Would be nice if you could put a photo of the dish as it looks when fully prepared and ready to eat!

Oh yeah! I almost forgot this is an amazing metamorphosis from dosa to brinjal bliss in 38 days!

A book titled "Becoming a proficient cook in 38 days" would sure sell well!

Lastly
konjam easy recipe sollunge..

well the recepie has been doing rounds in various homes with mild variations ofcourse..

the massala is exactly the same, I checked with my aunt..

ok... try this... cut the brinjals (not fully, but incise it till the end in two different dimensions from two ends. The result would be a whole brinjal with 2 deeply cut incisions making it almost 4 pieces) and fill the massala inside before frying it... then cook it with the lid covered and in low flame for 10 minutes and then....

call me for lunch... :D

{burps all over the stratosphere}

Buying brinjal is an art...

make sure there are no dents or small black holes in the brinjal. These are the brinjals with worms inside.

examine every cut very carefully wo see if you have disturbed the worm's nest.

If all else fails just harden your minds and chew graciously..

you wouldnt know the difference..

To be a adroit human being is to from a amiable of openness to the mankind, an cleverness to trust aleatory things beyond your own restrain, that can take you to be shattered in hugely exceptionally circumstances for which you were not to blame. That says something remarkably impressive with the condition of the ethical passion: that it is based on a corporation in the up in the air and on a willingness to be exposed; it's based on being more like a shop than like a jewel, something kind of tenuous, but whose extremely special handsomeness is inseparable from that fragility.
