While I was sleeping...
Weird things can happen anytime.It can even happen when everything around you looks so peaceful.(Do I sound like Mr.Dursley?)
Its worse if it happens when you are sleeping, snoring your way to glory.
Early today morning,like any other day, I was sleeping , what with the weather being nice and cold...
And I just dunno what hit me.My face was suddenly hurting.I screamed , screeched sooooo loud...Iam sure I mustve woken all my neighbours. I was scared even to open my eyes.I just shut it tightly and shouted for my mom.I could vaguely hear my dad's voice, like he is mumbling something from inside a well.He was saying "Its alright..its nothing"
I slowly opened my eyes.I first saw my mom next to me.She had put her hands over her mouth , like her name was just announced as Miss.Universe.
Why did I suddenly feel like Urmila from Booth?I just didn't know what was happening.
I was sleepy- and worried!!!!!I wanted someone to explain....
My mom didnt look like she was about to recover. Finally my dad told me casually that a cat jumped thru the window and had scratched my cheeks.
I gasped out of relief and suddenly became very alive.I jumped up and ran to check in the mirror..hmmm..Not all that bad.Three red marks near my left eye.I looked like a cannibal or maybe even a Red Indian.
My dad started examining the scratches thru his specs..*groan*
And then came the Rabies scare.I always thought Rabies comes only from Dog bites.I had to go around look for a hospital ,that too in Bangalore where even
tea shops don't open at that hour!!Somehow found a clinic and took an injection( *sob sob*)
What a way to start a Friday morning!
After all this excitement,I had to start for work.I looked like I was involved in some roadside brawl yday night. All my efforts to conceal the marks failed.Finally all I could do was put my hair over my eyes(yes, a fair resemblance to undertaker)
Whatever!!Fright of my life!!
Looks like canceling the entrance exams for Engg and Medical has upset many students.This is so totally unfair!What say?
Iam hooked on to this song, July Malargale...Karthik has such a soothing voice..sounds very much like Vijay(er ok, better than Vijay)...Only Sadhana sargam has kola pannified the Tamil..."July malaar-hale,July malaar-haaale,Un-kel etdhhiriyaai oru aalagun erukkkeeeraaan..." !!!

Cat scratches are good for the ego, cos cats are so finnicky creatures, they rarely come into human contact. Unless ofcourse you entice them with some warm milk :)..
I love cats cos they are silent and rarely make their presense felt.

Anyway to be serious, thats pretty close to the eyes. If its your pet have its claws trimmed.
Abolishing the entrance exam is one of the best moves. After completing the 12th exam spread over several days in varied subjects for 1200 marks what is the need to test again for couple of hours?
Hmmm.. Cats.. devious creatures! I once had this staring match with this neighourhood cat that used to come tot the un-blinded window of my basement apartment and stare inside. Everyday, It used to peek inside the house as if to see what was going on. And I used to jump in fright when i noticed jsut this cat face in the window without a body. So one day, I decided enough was enough and started staring back, using telepathy to convey to it that the first one to blink is chicken! And... I lost. Thank you very much, my eyes water a lot and thats why I lost. Anyways, a vile devious creature it was....
As for Sadhana Sargam, I always thought she was kinda the only singer from up north who did well with Thamizh. Mebbe i ought to listen more carefully!
Three scratch marks ? am sure you would have looked like a reincarnation of Bruce Lee... Everytime I listen to July Malargaley, I keep wondering from where Deva flicked the tune. The song is so wonderful that its too hard for me to believe it could be original. And yeah Sadana Sargam just cannot pronounce the "zha" in Tamil... But then, it sounds a little nice the way she sings :o)

i happened to me once. I was in thekadi with sister doing my vaccation. Suddenly at 3 am ( no idea sis told) woke up said who is that.. ya coming.. went to the door - opened - and found none - shouted who the hell rang the bell - came back to bed slept. And it seems i replied - no one some stupid playing prank to my sisters question - what happened to me. - Still this is the fun and prank my neice playing - hmm it happens
perhaps.. when u snore next time.. u shd sound like a dog.. grrrrr..(like someone takes something frm dog.. and it makes this sound)..

Ok... here is why, I prefer snake..
1.) I am not a part of the snake's natural diet. Given sufficient time, the snake and I can be good pals.
2.) We dont need to talk to each other, a hiss here and a hiss there..
3.) I dont need to bother, what he would eat... there are plenty of insects in my home...
4.) The snake can take a walk anytime outside the house. Slither through the window and back.
5.) Snakes are better than a pitt bull in gaurding the house. I mean how many times do you see "Dogs beware" and its a pomeranian. The thief intelligently puts a biscuit laced with sedatives and gets into the house..
Ever thought about "SNAKES BEWARE" ????
