Atlast gotto watch Chandramukhi this weekend :) I won't feel left out anymore
*Jyothika was the biggest mistake of the movie!!
It was like Malika Sherawat doing the classic amma role..The least she could have done was hone her dancing skills...
Especially if you have seen Shobana in Manichithrathazu,the malayalam
version of the movie.Shobana's dance in the end is beautiful..and she's
simple stunning.Why am I even comparing Shobana and Jyothika?!
However,Jo tries her best to scare us with her big eyes...and succeeds in looking like a weirdo.
*I was delighted to see my school time fav Vineeth in the movie *drool* but hes hardly there in the movie , just like Nayanthara..However Vadivelu is there..every frame..!!
*The telugu song "ra , ra" in the movie is so sweet to listen to..No wonder Bharathiyar sang.."Sundara Theluginil...'
*I have heard so much about how the Japanese love Rajini but I was nevertheless surprised to see so many Japanese in the queue for the tickets!!
*For the ones who have watched the movie..they never explained how the clock,cups etc break in the first half of the movie?!or did I doze off when they did?

Waitees! Time out!! u did sleep thro the movie... the conclusion was that there is/was a ghost which affected Jo, cuz she was susceptible to it. clear now? u shudda read the review i wrote!

Not able to decide whether to go for watching Chandramukhi. I have watched Manichitrathazu many times. So is it a remake of the same movie?

You can watch the movie for timepass..its the remake of the malayalam movie only..but it has a lot of masala added..malayalam version is much much better ..so dont expect the same

Duhh! Hello? watch movie again one more time please. They "apparently" say that the cause for jyothika's transformation is both psychological AND paranormal. Well, don't go and waste money again on the movie, but take my word. I didn't sleep through it. it was way too horrible for me to do that. ;)
I like the Ra.Ra..song as well.
But did you listen to the song in the telugu 'Chandramukhi'. Its sung by Nithyasreee..and is a tamil song..!!
However like you and Bharathi said...Sundhara Telungu ...stands out...IMHO.
I am still in confusion that the movie is about split personality or a pei ( ghost )movie. Is P.Vasu is also confuced ???.

u r totally confusing me!!!!Theres no GHOST in the movie...In the mallu version they say something like shes able to break stuff thru her mind or something along those lines..where do they say in chandramukhi that shes affected by a ghost!!??

It is a combination of both psychological and paranormal events, which is how Rajni explains how she gets "affected" by Chandramukhi. Time for you to watch the movie again I guess. Apparently, the same thing was said in the mallu version as well, though I have to admit that I haven't watched that. Have to watch it for Shobana's sake.

Thou' I belive originals are the best,Kannada version was very good(I was surprised to see a good kannada movie!!)Soundarya plays Shobana's role and is a delight to watch.Unfortunately,it was her last movie.
